Last week was painful for a lot of people.
When I’m dealing with significant amounts of stress or pain I use the following prayer as a mantra during my meditation(s).
It doesn’t really matter who or what you pray to–ten or fifteen minutes into repeating this silently on every inhale and exhale and really focusing on the intention is extremely powerful.
Please give me the strength to be the best that I can be
Please give me the eyes that I may see what can be seen
Please give me the means that I may help all those in need
Afterwards, express gratitude to whomever/whatever you’ve been sending the intentions by saying “Thank you.”
